May 12th has been designated as International Awareness Day for Chronic Immunological and Neurological Diseases (CIND) since 1992. The CIND illnesses include Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Fibromyalgia (FM), Gulf War Illness (GWI) and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS/ES).
